Information for Clubs

Surf life savers running on a beach with surf skis

KidSport will allow eligible youth the opportunity to apply for financial assistance to contribute towards sport and recreation club fees.

KidSport is being implemented in partnership with local governments. A child can apply for KidSport in the area in which they reside (exceptions may apply).

Sport and Recreation clubs wishing to be involved in the kidSport program should register as a ‘KidSport Club’ with their local government.

To be eligible Clubs need to be not-for-profit organisations, and if applicable, a member of their State Sporting Association.

Once registered, ‘KidSport Clubs’ can start to receive applications and invoice the local government for the cost of the child’s fees and other related costs as identified.

Clubs can help to promote KidSport to their members by linking with their local government to access application forms or include information in their club newsletters.

For further information click on the KidSport Fact sheet, contact the local government directly, or email kidsport@dsr.wa.gov.au.
