Sticky noteCommunity groups play an integral part in the social and economic development of the Shire of Chittering, and as such their success is important the the shire.  Part of the role of Club and Community Development Officer is to make sure that the community and sporting groups in the Shire of Chittering have access to up-to-date governance information and to help with queries that members may have in relation to the future growth of their group.

With the support of the Department of Sport and Recreation the State Wide Club Development Scheme is an initiative that aims to build the capacity of these clubs in WA.  Alison works with local clubs and organisation to provide information and guidance on sponsorship, fundraising, grants, event management, planning, marketing and promotions, membership and volunteer training.
